Good story, except one mistake, which if it had no bearing on the story would not have been such a big deal, but since it was integral to what was happening it warrants attention. In the story you say Halloween happened on Friday the 13th, but since Halloween is on a fixed day of the month (October 31) that is not possible. It can come on a Friday, sure, but Friday the 31st, not a Friday of any other day of the month.
Please give the authors feedback, I can not emphasize enough how important it is to them.
