The original Recolonization by Nok Nok is also one of my favorite stories on the site, although there are some problems with it too many characters who are hard to distinguish from each other after a while, mainly. This story... sadly, doesn't really stand up to it. The dialog is grating, the lead is something of an asshole, the tone shifts from slapstick to serious at the drop of a hat, and the inciting logic doesn't make sense if they have nanomachines that can rewrite DNA to make the lead more compatible, why did they need to wait 6000 years to begin with?

I've been following on DA, but figured I'd say something here for the anonymous curious about the story. It has a lot of promise and isn't all that heavy yet? In terms of its plot. Just enjoy it for what it is, especially again as a first time effort of sorts. While I'm sad she ended up reasonable, being this IS a BE central site, it is good setup for future shenanigans and the fantasy as she ponders how big she wants to go is exciting in it's own way.
Please give the authors feedback, I can not emphasize enough how important it is to them.
