I think what you composed made a ton of sense.
However, think on this, what if you added a little content?

I am not saying your content is not good., but suppose you added a post title that grabbed 
a person's attention? I mean Ratings is a little vanilla.
You should look at Yahoo's home page and watch how they write post titles to grab viewers to open the links.
You might add a related video or a related picture or two to grab people excited about what you've got to say.
Just my opinion, it could bring your blog a little livelier.

Story seems to end rather abruptly.  Should be classed as fast, rather than slow.  Definite potential.
