Not particularly original or interesting. The writer fails to maintain a level of interest until the end where it stops maybe too abruptly.

At first glance it seems like a typical monkey paw story but it really isn't. The Madam is particularly cruel for ruining a girl's life for the great crime of asking for a job application. I guess the Jill isn't supposed to be a sympathetic character because she was mean to her roommate that one time.
Expansion via implants is criminally underused so the story can be appreciated for that alone. The size descriptions are poor but serviceable. And the story ends abruptly with an unearned proverbial maniacal laugh.

I'm not big on the Madam Materia stories she's a jerk,and sometimes her customers are, too. I like happy endings. That said, this is a wellwritten story, and while the outcome was clear from MM's words, it still held my interest. I was hoping for an ending with an idea from a story I read long ago she enters it room with another woman who's acquired the same capability, so they make each other grow without limit.
