Very good, well paced. wanted to believe it! Comment's comments on lactose are probably right, but who cares. Liked the tit for tat behaviour of the characters.

I thought it was rather good. A classic premise with well described growth. But there were a couple of nitpicky things. Human milk has lactose in it just like most other mammals. Human milk actually has a higher lactose percentage then cow milk as I recall. Also, why the emphasis on whole in whole milk. Usually the material removed from milk is the fat which leads to a comparatively larger amount of lactose. I know there are lactose reduced milks that can have up to 30 lactose but why would they have those anyway. Is the implication that they keep some of the reduced lactose stuff around for her to grow with instead of using the regular stuff.

An amazing story. And extreme pleasure to read. Needs a sequel!
