Everyone is mentioning the Change, so I'll brush over that. My biggest issue with the story was why even bother with the first person perspective in the first place if it was going to be mostly dropped to focus on Emma in the second half? You might as well have stuck to the third person omniscient perspective for the whole story, to be honest.
Also, poor Captain seemed to have been abandoned entirely after the meeting at the vet.
Issues aside, it's a good story and it's worth reading.

Over all a pretty good read Lots of sexy bits although I felt like the character was extremely Mary Sueish even before she transformed into a near goddess like figure she seemed a bit too flawless
You also kept mentioning some event that happened I think it was some world wide event that changed humanity but it was never explained what it was or what significance it had on the plot
A bit rocky but was still enjoyable

Interesting Is this part of a larger world You mention the change a number of times but never nail down precisely what it entailed
