An adaptation of portions of "Bimbo Mall Battle" by Narse [based on "Arena" by The Chat-room Crew (coded into Inform7 by redneckdemon)] Outfit descriptions by MShadowy, Melissa, Mr. Grayfield, Narse This is a Twine based interactive vignette in which the reader plays a game featuring a magic remote. Readers will need at least a recent web browser, and it has not been tested on mobile devices.
Given this is a demo for an interactive Twine CYOA game, you should submit it at the TG Games httpswww.tfgames.site website instead of here. Still amusing for what it is though.
not very story based but fun having control in story
Interesting, but it goes nowhere at all.
Nifty! This is certainly the last place I expected to fin references to Arena, heh. It looks like to pretty much just lifted the basic mechanics and descriptions right out of the game. The only complaint I have about that is that you also lifted all the errors and typos right out of the game, too. XD
I would suggest manufacturing some form of plot for the game within your game, and at the very least give the target some dialog and reactions.
I agree with previous commenters that this would be more at home at TFGamesSite.com than it is here, seeing as how it is almost completely devoid of any actual story.
That said, I hope to see more from you!
Nice
Nice work getting it over to twine! I always was curious how many transformations were possible in BMB. You should upload this to tfgamessite, i think there will be more people interested in something like this over there :D
Good proof of concept, would be interesting to see it expanded in the future. Couple of bugs though, such as the Clothes quality + function breaking the game.
This has great promise. As other mentioned, it's like the Addventure, but you have much more control over what content you get to see. If you put a story behind this with more description and detail, I think that you would really be on to something. I would also like to see some FMG if possible in future versions.
we have the addventure for things like this.
This is a tech demo.
This was...different. Not exactly a story, more of a...tech demo? Its like one of those "follow your own adventure" type things except...not as fleshed out or interesting. The description is bare bones and there is little to no character/reactions from this, making it painfully dull. I like the idea, without a doubt, of a magic remote that actually works in my hands that can control the story however I want. But as it stands, there is not much to this. Polish it up, add some more story, maybe some dialogue and scenarios, and you could really have something here!
As it is right at this moment however, it is underdeveloped and somewhat boring. Keep on it though, I'd like to see where this is with a little more work behind it.
I've never had something REQUIRE javascript to look at a text file. With all the malware out there, I never trust stories in the browser, I use word. So your story could be the greatest thing ever written, but my settings have blocked you, so as far as I can see, the only thing you have written is "Sorry this story requires Javascript". Not very original if you ask me
Ok that was a fun character creator. And thats it. I expected a bit of story at least this is the equivalent of an Alpha test and should be advertised as such.
Apart from that I would like to see it continued.
Bug: Clothes Quality up-button doesn't work
WTF is this shit?
