A lovely tale, just what I needed to read today. I also may have bumped up the BE rating of this story because I like the other kind of BE so much, and it was well done. ;)

Interesting, although the arch narration style, while appropriate, felt forced at times and sort of distracted from the story. Additionally, the climax basically repeated itself for no good reason?

Not much BE but a fine fairytale. I saw only one error. You want "taut" not "taught".
Please give the authors feedback, I can not emphasize enough how important it is to them.
