This chapter's actually pretty good for BE - the first two,not so much. Author writes VERY well, a stellar cut above the usual dreck. PERSONALLY I have a real problem with making feudal society so CLEAN, so middle-class sensitive. Come on, subsistence watermen and fishwives live ins back-breaking squalor and don't talk or act like this. No merchantWOMAN is going to be mayor and chief moneylender of a muscle-powered society. A witch? Sure, but that's not what's here. The dark rising ... that's nice, looks promising. I'll definitely keep reading, and don't pay too much attention to my carping. I know very few people are bothered by anachronisms as I am.

Technically I don't see how this story could be improved. However, I am a little confused as to why the young couple isn't more alarmed by the recent changes to their bodies.
You've got a great talent for descriptions though, keep using it.

Excellent work! This series is definitely worth the read, I'm really enjoying where its going. Also this has some of the best written growth scenes and physical descriptions I've ever seen. It's so refreshing to see an author manage to both completely, and I mean completely, avoid the use of cup sizes in their BE depictions, yet still thoroughly describe everything in such detail that you can vividly picture it happening (wish I could do that more in my writing). All the characters are very well flushed out; been awhile sine I read BE where I truly felt for the protagonists. All in all, love it.
Oh, and if you're hesitant about reading this series because of its length, just try it! It really reads faster than you'd think it would, very easy to get through, and SOOOO worth the time!

A dark turn, but not necessarily for the worst. Just made me hate Menena and the overall tone is darker than I personally prefer but that doesn't mean I won't be looking for the next installment.
Please give the authors feedback, I can not emphasize enough how important it is to them.
