I'm running this down the middle because of the fact that the story lacked any real description. Although enjoyable to a limited extent I couldn't get into it.
My suggestions, get an editor, spend time writing it, and re-read your own work. If you can't get past two pages without thinking of something else then you need to add more to it.

I really liked this story, it's much more than fodder for the fire. But your description of overall events was somewhat lacking. Your character development was great, but things just seemed far too convenient for everyone. Such as the Sorceress having a trick collars handy. Anyways, great start for the story, and hope to see more for you.

You seem to be stream of thoughting this a bit. The explanations of things are awkward and out of place.
Please give the authors feedback, I can not emphasize enough how important it is to them.
