Not bad -- definitely enjoyable -- but I kept getting distracted by the completely unrealistic portrayal of this world. The description of Shifter behavior to discern their 'otherness' doesn't match how they're actually described to act; they don't understand relationships, but they do go to work; they can make super-chemicals in their bodies, but they don't make semen; both races are heading toward extinction, but no one seems to mind.
I realize this is a piece of stroke-fiction, and all the individual parts are fine, but it does get more distracting as the inconsistencies pile up.

Great work. Very entertaining and intriguing. A bit short in the BE department but what was there worked pretty well (I only bring it up since this site is all about BE). A couple of grammar mistakes / typos but not enough to detract from the story. I especially enjoyed Samantha's sly seduction efforts. Hope you are still working on a part two, can't wait to read more.

My favorite addition to this universe yet. Little skimpy on the BE and a little vague on the preg/shifter birth stuff. But all in all a very fun and 'realistic' story.

I gave it below avg on BE (like he said, not very much), and character likeability (I would prefer that the hero doesn't succumb to the enemy, no matter how big her tits get!). Also, it seemed like the story ended abruptly, without any climax (er, story climax, not sexual climax!!)

Very good story overall, believable characters even if they weren't incredibly deep. Light on BE, high on seduction. I'd suggest running it through a spell-checker first; there were a very few typos (e.g. adsorbed instead of absorbed), but the grammar was very good.
Please give the authors feedback, I can not emphasize enough how important it is to them.
