Good start on the story, I really liked the characters and the setting. The dialogue was entertaining to read as well, which is nice since a lot of stories are lacking in that department.
The BE and growth descriptions could use a little more detail in my opinion though. I look forward to reading the next installment if you continue on.

Hey jack! I actually just started writing again after reading your encouraging comments from my stories. It's great to see that you're still doing the same.
As for the story--I was blown away. Great great description. I actually read it twice.
One suggestion though would be that the main character possibly grows slower. It's something I personally enjoy.
Anyway, thanks for posting this and I hope to see more soon!
