Couldn't get through the story, the entire tone had the condescending attitude to a child's storybook and had almost the same style of writing.

Although I didn't have the same problem with tone that DH had, there is just not much meat on the bones of this story. The BE was okay but it didn't start anywhere and didn't go anywhere. I didn't get a good sense for the characters, and the smut wasn't smutty enough to make up for the lack. Pretty insubstantial. But it's a good start. The author has potential.
Please give the authors feedback, I can not emphasize enough how important it is to them.
