This one starts off strong. Like REALLY strong. I'm on board with a lot of the weirder fetish stuff beyond BE throughout the whole thing. But it all sort of comes crashing down in the last act. There's no real payoff, we lose some of the characters, and it feels like all of the depravity gets shoved into a couple messy paragraphs. Feels like the author ran out of steam and just kind of tied it off. Still worthb a read for the prose and buildup.

I definitely was not on board with some of the stranger and more depressing aspects of the second half of the story, but the character development and plot, not to mention scenario is out of the park as far as a BE story is concerned. Trying to bring this thing to an art form eh?

As always, Kowalski delivers the goods in this amazing tale. The right balance of smut and plot, some spectacularly overblown sex scenes - as always, Kowalski goes to a very dark place in his ending, which may not be to everyone's taste, but it's a terrific story nonetheless. I highly recommend it.

Excellent story. Good premise with a great mix of characters. I especially enjoyed near the end Danielle and Keith treating mind blowing sex as just the norm. Something they had to do.
