The odd writting mistake but a good story, the characters could have been developed a bit more I think. The only real problem I have with story is that they know that this new computer program has a big, possible dangerious, side effect and yet he just includes in his report that the files must be encrypted as soon as possible, doesn't sound very lickely to me, maybe that's just me.
Please give the authors feedback, I can not emphasize enough how important it is to them.
