Premise: a psychic girl is experimented on to try to turn her
into a ghost while leaving her mind intact. This
mostly works, but gets disrupted when a paranormal
investigator interrupts the process halfway through.

Candice Jacobs - 24, mentalist psychic (mind reading and controlling),
chubby, brunet. 5'5", 36C. Was in medical school before
she got pulled into the experiment. Wore lots of
cold-iron piercings to keep her psychic powers suppressed.
With her piercings out, she could hear people's thoughts
and hypnotize people when making eye contact.

Thomas Marsh - 45. Powerful and experienced psychic. Is a medium,
and a mentalist. Uses a large ruby ring to hypnotize
people. Has several ghost servants bound to himself.
5'9", heavy set, curly black hair, mustache.

Lucinda Vimes - 37. Thomas's partner in crime. Strong Telekinetic.
5'3", slim, pretty in a sharp sort of way.

Liam Tripp - 28. Powerful medium. Works as an electrician, and tries to
keep his head down, but is too much of a good Sumerian
to stop himself from helping spirits move on and defending
the living from the dead. 6'1", has two full sleeves of
tattoos to defend against mental influence.

Olaf - a poltergeist with a broken neck that Liam has
bound. He hasn't been able to get much out of
                    it.

Scenes
======

Liam has noticed a subtle change in the gradient of the other side pointing
to somewhere north of town. He drives up with his truck and wanders around
trying to locate it. When he eventually does he surprises Thomas and Lucinda.
They attack him and he uses Olaf to defend himself, then takes control of
all of Thomas's ghosts and chases the pair away. He finds Candice just in
time for her to die in his arms.

Candice's ghost pays Thomas a visit and eats his soul. Scene ends with her
doing the same to Lucinda. She realizes she is a Shade, the most powerful
and dangerous type of ghost. She also realizes by reading Thomas's notes
that she is like a vessel leaking her humanity and unless a living
psychic establishes a bond with her the rest of her humanity will leak
out.

Candice shows up at Liam's place. He tries to disperse her, but stops
when she is able to have an actual conversation with him. She explains
her predicament and asks him to bind her to his service. He agrees
and manages to bind her with some difficulty.

Candice can't go further than 300 yards from Liam, so she has to
follow him around on jobs. She quickly proves to be a useful asset.

At home, Candice takes care of Liam in ways that surprise him. She
keeps his apartment very clean. She cooks delicious meals for him.
She starts maintaining house plants and improving his interior
design by getting stuff off of facebook marketplace. She even starts
making a little money by selling hand-knit sweaters on etsy. She's
also starting to look more and more attractive in subtle ways.

Liam goes on a date, which Candice ruins by spoiling some of the
food the girl eats, making her feel unwell and head home. When
Liam gets home, Candice is quite noticeably sexier. Liam gets
suspicious and demands to know if she had anything to do with
it. Candice confesses and cries.

Candice is apologetic and ashamed for a few days. Liam is
finding her body increasingly distracting.

Liam brings another date back to his place. They've been out
together a few times. The date gets weird when she sees Candice
cleaning up and Candice starts talking to her like a person not
a mindless ghost.
