Once everyone had returned, Chloe’s dad continued with his turn,
landing on a blue space. “This could be fun,” he said, holding up
the trait card that read ‘AIRPLANE PILOT’. He closed his eyes for a
moment, before announcing, “I know how to fly a plane…”

“Now, if we only had a plane,” Chloe’s mom pointed out as she picked
up the die. When her piece landed on one of the few gold spaces, she
smiled. “I get a prize…”

“What did you get?” Chloe asked her mom.

“It says,” her mom answered, reading from the card, “You may void any
one card you draw, or a card that targets you or your cards. Then it
says some stuff about being able to hold onto it until later.”

“That could be useful,” Chloe’s dad said.

“I wish I had that one,” Tyler grumbled.

“Well, it’s mine,” his mom told him with a smirk.

Cassandra took her turn and landed on a green space. When she drew
her card, she held it up, revealing the word, ‘LIBRARIAN’. Before
she’d even placed her card on the coffee table, her hair gone into a
bun, her clothes had become more conservative, and she was now
wearing a pair of glasses.

“At least I didn’t become a mousey librarian,” Cassandra commented in
a quiet voice as she looked down at her still attractive body. “At
least not too much. But I do have this urge to curl up with a good
book…”

Chloe picked up the die and rolled it, hoping that she’d land on the
golden spot just six spaces away. However, she ended up 2 spaces
short, landing on a red space instead.

“I guess it’s another action card for me,” Chloe said in
disappointment. She drew the action card, then read it aloud.
“Discard any number of trait cards, then draw that many trait cards.
Choose one other player, and that player may discard any number of
trait cards, and then draw that many.”

Chloe currently had three trait cards, but there was no way that she
was going to get rid of two of them. She took her ‘SMOKER’ card and
tossed it into the discard pile, then drew a single card as a
replacement and smiled when she saw that it read, ‘ATHLETIC’.

“Another nice one,” Rachael said.

A moment later, Chloe’s muscles grew and firmed, giving her the solid
muscle tone of someone who exercised frequently. She smiled,
enjoying how strong and healthy she felt.

“Definitely a good trade,” Chloe commented.

Then she remembered the second part of the card and looked around the
table. She had to pick someone else to get the same chance that she
had. A moment later, her eyes settled on Tyler. He was a jerk a lot
of the time, but he was also her brother, and so far, this game
hadn’t been very good to him.

“I choose Tyler for the second part,” Chloe announced.

Tyler actually grinned at that, and immediately tossed both of his
trait cards into the discard pile. He immediately began deflating,
losing the weight he’d gained from the ‘CHUBBY’ card.

“I would have kept the painter one,” Rachael said.

Tyler wasted no time in drawing the two replacement cards.
‘VEGETARIAN’ and ‘DANCER’.

“Aw, come on,” Tyler exclaimed in frustration.

Rachael burst out laughing. “Well, now I guess we’re both dancers.”

Chloe picked the die up since it was closer to her than Rachael, and
handed it to the other girl. Rachael nodded, then rolled, landing on
a red space.

“Look at the top two cards in the trait stack,” Rachael read aloud,
“then take one of them and put the other in the discard pile.”

She paused at that, then picked up the two cards, revealing that one
said ‘FAT’ while the other was ‘BISEXUAL’.

“Well, I don’t want to be fat,” Rachael announced, tossing that card
into the discard pile, then joking to Tyler, “And to think, you could
have drawn that one…” Tyler shuddered in response.

Then, Rachael looked around the table, giving Chloe a very
appreciative look before giving similar looks to Cassandra and
Chloe’s mom. However, her eyes went back to Chloe and she smiled.

“My turn again,” Mara said with a faint sneer. She rolled the die,
landing on a blue space. When she drew a trait card, it was blank,
though quickly filled in with ‘ALLERGIC TO STRAWBERRIES’. “I
wouldn’t mind getting rid of that one.”

“It could be worse,” Chloe told her sister with a grin. “You could
have drawn that fat card.”

Mara nodded agreement, then smirked. “Imagine if Tyler got that one,
and the chubby one at the same time.”

“Bite me,” Tyler responded, though Mara flipped him off before
handing the die to their father.

Chloe watched as her dad rolled the die, landing on a green space.
He looked a little nervous as he drew the archetype card and held it
up for everyone to see. ‘CHEF’

“Honey,” he said, looking at his wife, “I don’t think we’re going to
miss your cooking skills that much. I’m pretty sure I just received
an entire culinary school education, in the blink of an eye.” He
looked down at himself, and the chef’s jacket that he was now
wearing. Then he smiled and mused, “And I have an idea for an
absolutely fantastic meal…”

“That sounds good, dear,” Chloe’s mom said with a look of amusement.
She picked up the die and looked over the board. “We’re getting close
to the end.”

“I’m in the lead,” Tyler bragged, though he didn’t look very
enthusiastic about it. His eyes went to the cards in front of him. “I
wonder what that prize is.”

“We’ll see soon enough,” Cassandra pointed out.

“But not just yet,” Chloe’s mom said, just as she rolled the die and
landed on a red space. “Discard all archetype cards you possess, and
draw that many replacement cards.” Her eyes went wide at that, and
she quickly grabbed the prize card that she’d previously won. “I
don’t think so.” With that, she put the prize card into the discard
pile and handed the die to Cassandra.

Cassandra rolled the die and landed on a red space. After drawing
her card, she read, “Discard either one archetype card or two trait
cards.” With a faint smile, she adjusted her glasses and then
discarded her librarian archetype. Her glasses vanished as she
returned to her previous style. “Next.”

“Give me a two,” Chloe said, eying the golden square, just two spaces
away from her piece. The die landed on a three, making Chloe groan
before moving her piece to the red square right after the one she’d
wanted. With a sigh of disappointment, she drew her action card and
read it aloud. “Draw one archetype card and one trait card.”

Chloe drew her trait card first, and saw that it said ‘COMPUTER
PROGRAMMER’. Suddenly, Chloe realized that she understood how
computers worked, and that there was a lot more to them than simply
clicking on the desktop icons. She blinked at that, then drew her
second card from the archetype pile. That one said ‘BODYBUILDER’.

“WHAT?” Tyler blurted out. “How is that fair?”

“Oh, this feels weird,” Chloe said, as she felt every one of her
muscles tense up at the same time.

Every one of Chloe’s muscles began to swell and grow. On an impulse,
she stood up and flexed her arm, staring at the bicep, which was
becoming larger and more round as she watched. Her arms and legs
thickened, while her abs firmed up. Then, as the growth stopped, her
clothes continued to change, not only becoming large enough to fit
her transformed body, but also designed to show it off.

“Well, look at this,” Chloe announced, noticing her open midriff,
which showed her newly formed six-pack. She posed a little more,
flexing her muscles and deciding that she really liked showing them
off, and making people jealous of how big they were. “I can’t wait
to get to the gym, so I can get a good pump on and see how strong I
really am now…”

“Damn,” Rachael exclaimed, staring at Chloe with an almost hungry
look. “Sexy and strong. The perfect combination…”

“You were already athletic,” Cassandra pointed out. “And now you’re
a bodybuilder on top of that. Very…impressive.”

“I feel impressive,” Chloe said as she sat back down. Grinned at
that. “And strong…”

“That is totally not fair,” Tyler complained.

Chloe laughed at that, then asked her brother, “So, do you want to
arm wrestle?”

“Stop teasing your brother,” her mom said, giving her a warning look.

“Come on,” Tyler said as he snatched up the die. “Give me something
good…” The die came up as a five, and Tyler’s eyes widened in
delight as he counted the spaces and saw that he’d landed on a golden
square. “YES. I get a prize…”

“This should be interesting,” Rachael commented.

“Draw a good card,” Cassandra told Tyler.

Tyler drew his prize card and read it to himself first. Then, he
smiled and read it again, aloud. “Look at the top three archetype
cards. Take one, and put the other two into the discard pile.”

With that, Tyler quickly grabbed the cards, not showing anyone what
they were until he made his decision. Seconds later, he dropped two
cards into the discard pile. One said ‘BIMBO’ and the other was
blank. Only then did he reveal the card that he’d selected.
‘BIKER’. Tyler’s clothes began to change, and he was suddenly
wearing a black leather jacket, with a Harley Davidson logo on the
back.

“To think,” Tyler said, looking at Chloe and pointing to the ‘BIMBO’
card, you could have drawn this one. His confidence had returned
along with the new archetype, as he sat there with a cocky smirk on
his face. “Damn, I can’t wait to go out riding…”

“Not bad,” Rachael said, giving Tyler a thoughtful look. “You’ve got
the bad boy thing going now…” Then she looked back to Chloe and
smiled.

“Roll the damn die,” Tyler grumbled impatiently.

Rachael ignored him and took her time with rolling the die. “I get
an action card…” She drew the card and read it over. “Choose one
other player. You will gain a copy of a random trait card that
player possesses. That player will then gain a copy of a random
trait card that you possess.” Almost immediately, Rachael announced,
“I choose Chloe… Any of her traits would be good to have…”

The action card that Rachael was holding suddenly changed, becoming a
trait card with the word ‘ATHLETIC’ written on the front. Her
muscles immediately became more toned and athletic, a fact that was
quite noticeable due to her revealing clothes.

“Nice,” Chloe said, nodding in approval. Then, she glanced down at
the trait cards in front of herself, noticing that a new one had
appeared. ‘BISEXUAL’. “Oh… I was hoping for the big breasts…”
However, when she looked back at Rachael, she gasped, suddenly
realizing just how hot and sexy the other girl was. Chloe
immediately began to get turned on, and quickly looked away with a
blush.

“Get a room,” Mara announced as grabbed the die and took her turn.
Seconds later, she drew an action card and read, “Discard two trait
cards.” She immediately tossed two of her cards into the discard
pile, and her long hair immediately shortened down to its original
shoulder length. “At least I got rid of that damn strawberry
allergy. No more hives for me…”

“Seven spaces away,” Chloe’s dad commented as he picked up the die.
“I can’t win it this round, so hopefully, I get something good
instead.” He landed on a green space and drew a blank archetype
card, which immediately filled in with the word, ‘MANAGER’. “Well,
that one was a waste.”

“My turn,” Chloe’s mom announced with a smug look. “If I get a five
or six, I win the game…” She rolled the die and let out a sigh of
disappointment. “A three.” With a shrug, she drew a trait card and
held it up so that everyone could see that it said, ‘AUTO MECHANIC’.
“Well, at least the next time the car breaks, I should be able to fix
it myself.”

Cassandra picked up the die and counted the spaces. “I’m a little
too short to win this turn too, even with a six.” She rolled the die
and moved her piece, then drew an action card and read aloud. “Draw
two trait cards, then give one trait card to the player on your left.”

“So, what have you got for me this time?” Chloe asked, remembering
the last time Cassandra had given her a card. She’d ended up as a
smoker, at least for a short time. “At least try to make it good…”

Instead of answering, Cassandra gave her a smile and drew her two
cards. One was ‘BEAUTY’ and the other was ‘PLAY PIANO’. Without
saying a word, she took both of those cards and handed her ‘MASSEUSE’
card to Chloe.

Chloe smiled at the new knowledge and skills that flooded into her
mind, and she couldn’t wait to try them out. However, at the moment
she had more immediate things to worry about. She picked up the die
and rolled, landing on the same red space as Cassandra.

“Draw a prize card,” Chloe read her card aloud, smiling as she did
so. “It looks like I don’t even need to land on a gold space to get
a prize…” She quickly drew the prize card, and read that aloud as
well. “Take a trait card owned by another player. You may save this
card for later use.”

“Those prize cards are useful,” Chloe’s mom said, looking just a
little envious.

“Definitely,” Chloe agreed, already looking around the table to
decide what card she’d take. Since there was no way the game would
last long enough for her to get another turn, she knew that she had
to use her prize now, or lose it entirely. “I choose Cassandra’s
beauty…”

“Damn,” Cassandra said with a sigh as she handed the card over. For
the last minute, she’d been beautiful enough to be a professional
model, but this beauty now faded, making her once again look like her
normal attractive self.

“Sorry about that,” Chloe told her, though she didn’t sound very
sincere.

“WOW,” Rachael exclaimed, staring at Chloe more intensely than
before. “You were already sexy, but adding this on top of it…
Just…wow.”

“Definitely wow,” Mara said, giving Chloe a jealous look. “You know,
I’m stealing that if I get a chance…”

“You’re doubling up on both fitness and attractiveness,” Cassandra
pointed out. “And by the way, I am stealing that back if I get the
chance…”

“And I’m taking those muscles,” Tyler stated, as though this was a
simple fact. He rolled the die and landed on a red space. He drew
his card, then read, “Discard an archetype card and draw a new one.
If you possess more than one archetype card, choose which one to
discard.”

Tyler muttered a couple profanities under his breath, before quickly
glancing at his mother. He was still scowling as he put his
archetype card into the discard pile, and his leather jacket
vanished. Then he drew a replacement card, and from the look on his
face, everyone knew that it wasn’t a good one. A moment later, he
slapped it down on the coffee table so that everyone could see that
it said, ‘BUTLER’. Chloe began to laugh, and a moment later,
everyone else was laughing as well.

“That’s not funny,” Tyler exclaimed as he stood up. His posture was
much more straight than normal, and his clothes shimmered and changed
until he was wearing an old–fashioned black suit. “Would anyone like
something to drink?”

“I’ll have a coke,” Mara answered with a smirk. Then, after Tyler
went to the kitchen, she stated, “I like this version of Tyler.”

“You have a private chef and a butler,” Cassandra told Chloe’s mom.
“I’m jealous…”

Rachel chuckled at that and picked up the die. “I need a six to
win…” She rolled the die, then her eyes widened when it stopped. “A
six… I WIN!”

“Congratulations,” Chloe told her.

“Thank you,” Rachael responded, before asking, “But what now?”

Chloe picked up the instruction sheet and read the part about
winning. “The game ends when the first player reaches the finish
line. At this point, all unused prize cards become void. The winner
draws a single prize card, which will be more valuable than a
standard prize card. The winning player must play their winning
prize card immediately, along with any follow-up cards. Once the
winning player is finished playing these cards, the game is
concluded.”

“That sounds simple enough,” Rachael said, drawing her prize card and
looking it over. “Wow, this is a good one…”

“What does it say?” Chloe asked.

===================

“Count the number of players,” Rachael read aloud. “Then look at the
top number of cards in the trait deck, equal to the number of
players. Give each of these cards to a player of your choice,
including yourself. Each player may only be given one card.”

“So, basically,” Chloe said with a faint smile, “you get to look at
the top seven cards, then take the best one for yourself.”

“And give us all the leftovers,” Mara added.

Rachael smiled as she began looking through the top seven cards, not
showing them to anyone else. After a minute, she set one of the
cards down in front of herself. ‘BLACKBELT IN KARATE’. “With the
way I look now,” she explained. “I thought it would be a good idea
to be able to defend myself.”

“A very good idea,” Cassandra agreed.

“I thought you might like this one,” Rachael said, handing a card
that said ‘MUSCLES’ to Chloe’s dad. His muscles immediately grew
larger, making him look like he lifted weights on a regular basis,
though he didn’t look large enough to be a bodybuilder.

Chloe watched her dad with a smirk, pleased that she was still larger
than him. “Maybe we can spot each other in the gym,” she offered.

Rachael handed a card to Chloe’s mom, not saying a thing. However,
Chloe’s mom immediately held the card up so everyone could see the
‘FAST METABOLISM’ written there. Much of her weight, which was
already positioned to make her voluptuous, began dwindling away.
When it stopped, she was much thinner, though she remained a very
sexy MILF.

“I figure that having a chef for a husband,” Rachael said with a
grin, “it might be nice, being able to eat whatever you want, without
getting fat.”

“I’ll get some good use out of this,” Chloe’s mom agreed, looking
quite pleased.

Cassandra gave her an amused look. “You know Denise, I am so jealous
of you right now…”

Without saying a word, Rachael handed a card to Cassandra, and gave
her an apologetic look. Cassandra held up the card that read,
‘REDHEAD’. Her hair, which had been a golden blonde, courtesy of
chemical enhancement, suddenly changed color and became a vibrant red
color.

“I guess I’m a redhead now,” Cassandra commented, not seeming
bothered by this change. “This will be a new look for me…”

“What about me?” Mara asked impatiently.

“They aren’t all good ones,” Rachael admitted as she handed over a
card.

Mara looked at her card, then demanded, “Are you kidding me?” She
slammed her card on the table, so that everyone could see that it
said, ‘JUGGLER’. “Maybe I could juggle knives. That would be cool…”

“Don’t you dare,” her mom exclaimed, fixing her with a warning look.

Chloe laughed at that, though she eyed the remaining cards in
Rachael’s hand a little nervously. Considering the last two cards
that she’d passed out, Chloe was getting a little worried with what
would be left when it was her turn.

“Tyler,” Rachael abruptly said, turning to Chloe’s brother.

“Since you didn’t give me the muscles, I bet you have something good
for me,” Tyler said.

Most of the time, he would have been loud and pushy with this, but
his voice was calm and steady, which Chloe took to be part of his
being a butler. After all, butlers didn’t yell. Or at least, she
was pretty sure they weren’t supposed to.

“Honestly,” Rachael admitted, “I thought you were a bit of a bully
before, and wasn’t eager to see you go back to that.” She looked
guilty as she gave Tyler a card.

‘LOVES MYSTEY NOVELS’ was written across the front of the card.
Tyler looked at it and scowled faintly, but didn’t say anything.
Instead, he tried to maintain a sense of dignity, which seemed odd
for him.

“And what do you have for me?” Chloe asked, bracing herself for the
worst.

Rachael smirked as she placed the card onto the coffee table, right
in front of Chloe. Chloe looked down and saw ‘SKILLED LOVER’ facing
up at her.

“That hardly seems right,” Tyler told Rachael, obviously confused
about why his girlfriend would give two cards, which would have
seemed natural to give to him, to others, while leaving him with what
he considered an embarrassing card instead.

Rachael gave Chloe a very lustful look before tearing her eyes away.
“I guess that’s it then. The game is over.”

Tyler scowled, obviously upset with how things turned out. However,
in spite of that, he immediately began to clean up the living room,
picking up empty soda cans and glasses. Then, he closed the game box
in order to get easier access to the table.

“Let’s put the pieces away,” Chloe said, opening the box again and
pausing in surprise.

The discard pile was now empty, while the stacks of cards remained,
looking exactly as they did before the game began. The game pieces
and die were back in their slots, while the folded instruction sheet
was placed in the middle of the board. And when Chloe looked at the
cards that had been left out on the table, she noticed they had
vanished, obviously returning to their stacks, along with the cards
in the discard pile.

“That’s easy to clean up,” Chloe commented.

After this, everyone scattered to check out their new selves, except
for Tyler, who continued to clean up the living room. Chloe watched
him for a moment with a smirk, deciding that she definitely preferred
things this way.

Chloe went to her bedroom, then looked herself over, taking delight
in flexing her muscles and seeing how big they were. She felt so
strong and powerful, like she could do nearly anything with her new
body, and she loved that feeling.

“Strong and sexy as hell,” Chloe said, pleased with how the game had
turned out. When she was finished, she returned to the living room,
only to catch the end of an argument between Rachael and Tyler.

“I’m sorry,” Rachael told Tyler. “But we were only together because
you were a successful jock, and I was a cheerleader. Everyone
expected you to date a cheerleader and me to date a jock. It wasn’t
until we both lost those roles, that I realized that without them, we
don’t really have anything between us.”

“I think I understand,” Tyler responded, keeping his voice calm and
event, though he was obviously unhappy. “But there’s no reason we
can’t still be together.”

“It’s over,” Rachael told him. “I’m sorry…” Then she struck a sexy
pose, pushing her chest out a bit and adding, “Once I find a place to
dance, you can come watch me sometime. I’ll even give you a free
dance…”

When they were finished, Chloe went up to Rachael and said, “That
must have been awkward…”

“Yes,” Rachael agreed. “But necessary.”

Chloe nodded at that, while admitting Rachael’s body. “So,” she
asked with a smirk. “Is there any reason that you gave me that
specific card?”

Rachael blushed, but gave Chloe an inviting look. In a sexy purr,
she answered, “Just hoping…”

“I like the way you think,” Chloe said, grabbing Rachael in a
powerful embrace and kissing her passionately. Rachael kissed back,
obviously just as into it as Chloe.

“Wow,” Rachael said when they broke apart. “You’re so sexy…and big
muscles happen to be a real turn on for me.”

“That’s convenient,” Chloe said with a grin.

“You’re the total package,” Rachael agreed.

“Oh yeah,” Chloe said, flexing her arms and admiring her bicep.
Then, she wrapped her powerful arm around Rachael and gave her
another kiss.

Once they were done, Rachael let out a sigh. “Unfortunately, I have
to get home. I’m not sure how I’ll explain this to my family...”

“I’ll walk you home,” Chloe offered, giving her a wink. “To protect
you. We can talk while we walk.”

“I’ve got a black belt now,” Rachael reminded her with a smirk. “I
can take care of myself. But your company is still more than
welcome…”

As they started for the door, Chloe absently grabbed the game and
brought it with, not sure why, only that it felt right. Rachael
didn’t say anything about it, so Chloe continued to carry it as they
walked down the sidewalk, in the direction of Rachael’s house.

“You know,” Chloe said. “If I didn’t know better, I’d think the game
was messing with Tyler.”

“Do we know better?” Rachael asked, not sounding so sure. “I mean,
we saw a lot of cards change into other cards. Who says that they
can’t change before we even draw them?”

“That’s a scary thought,” Chloe commented, thinking of all the random
cards that had been drawn, and the way everyone had been changing.
It certainly seemed random, and like it had all been the luck of the
drawn, but now she wasn’t quite certain. Still, even if the game had
somehow been playing them, there was nothing she could do about it
now. Nor did she really want to.

“Forget about that,” Rachael said, grabbing Chloe in a tight hug.
“Let’s talk about something more interesting…like us.”

“I like that topic,” Chloe agreed, giving Rachael another kiss. She
couldn’t wait until they had a chance to do more than just kiss and
feel each other up. “I like that topic a lot.”

Then, as they walked past a bus stop, Chloe absently set the game
onto the bench and continued walking. It wasn’t until she was half a
block away, that she realized what she’d done.

For a brief moment, Chloe was a little concerned by the fact that the
game had been messing with her mind. Everyone who saw the game,
wanted to play it, even when that was out of their normal character.
While playing, they’d all accepted the changes to themselves and each
other so easily, and not one of them had even suggested that they
stop playing. And now, she’d gotten rid of the game, while on
autopilot, and she felt absolutely no desire to go back and retrieve
it.

“What are you thinking about?” Rachael asked, giving Chloe a curious
look.

Chloe smiled, then picked Rachael up as though she weighed nothing,
and gave her another powerful kiss. “The only thing I’m thinking
about right now, is you, and how much I want to tear those clothes
right off your body…”

“I’d prefer to make a show of taking them off,” Rachael teased, “but
I can definitely see the advantage of your method…” Then, she
smirked and whispered in Chloe’s ear. “My parents won’t be home for
a couple hours…”

Chloe smirked, loving how that sounded. She licked her lips
suggestively, thinking of that final trait card she’d received, and
looking forward to putting those skills to the test. With that, the
two of them began to walk a little faster.

THE END
