More character development than usual in the genre makes the story believable, yet it works as an erotic fantasy. it is on the long side, but that did not bother me a bit.

This story really didn't do anything for me and I think the entire reason for that was the way it started - the last thing I want when I read a BE story is to have lots of real issues and miscarriage is a pretty serious real life thing. So I'm sure you can understand how this sort of thing really spoiled - no, ruined - any enjoyment I might have gleaned from this story.
