I've read a great many stories in this archive.  So far, only one has violated most of these rules.  However, there are far too many minor violations!!!  I think having these rules collected in one place will be (and probably has been) a great boon to would-be BE authors.
That being said, it could use more detailed character descriptions and BE descriptions. :)
