It's certainly not bad, but I docked you on BE and characters because there wasn't a whole ton of either but not so little to warrant below 3. Its promising work and I hope you either continue it or at the least keep writing.

It's short, but a good start. Some of the sentences could use a little adjusting; in some cases they are run-on and in some cases a period could be a comma.
I gave you a 2 on characters since there isn't much description of anyone at all.
I enjoyed the diary-entry format and the personal voice. The BE only happens at the very end, which is why I gave you a 3.
I'd love to see this expanded out into a longer story! What happens next?
