Bizzare indeed.
Normally I don't really like stories that start in the middle, but I didn't mind it too much this time, though I'll readily admit that I was confused by the technicalities behind the main character's growth cycles. The whole thing was a wee bit creepy since I didn't entirely understand what was going on, and the main character seemed so scared; but on the whole it was quite enjoyable.
Please give the authors feedback, I can not emphasize enough how important it is to them.
